Request Account Deletion
We understand that you may want to delete your account and associated data from our training applications. This page outlines the process for requesting account deletion and explains what data will be removed or retained.
Applications Covered by This Policy
This account deletion process applies to the following Design Interactive training applications:
- Pre-Trip Trainer - Commercial vehicle inspection training
- XRMentor - Augmented reality enhanced training platform (when account creation becomes available)
- Future training applications using the same platform
Steps to Delete Your Account:
Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the app (Pre-Trip Trainer, XRMentor, etc.) on your mobile device
- Tap the profile icon in the upper right corner
- Scroll down to find the account deletion option
- Follow the prompts to confirm account deletion
- Account deletion will be processed immediately
Method 2: Email Request (If you can't access the app)
If you have already deleted the app or cannot access your account, you can request deletion by email:
- Email us at support@xrmentor.net with the subject line "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the following information:
- Your full name
- The email address associated with your account
- Which app you're using (Pre-Trip Trainer, XRMentor, etc.)
- Your organization/company name (if applicable)
- Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
- Wait for confirmation - We will send you a confirmation email within 2 business days
- Account deletion will be completed within 30 days of your request

Data Deletion Details
When you request account deletion, the following actions will be taken:

| Created Training Content | Permanently deleted | Deleted within 30 days |
| Direct Communications | Permanently deleted | Deleted within 30 days |
| System Performance Logs | Anonymized/Aggregated | Personal identifiers removed within 30 days |
**Anonymized data means all personal identifiers are permanently removed, but usage patterns and performance metrics are retained to improve our training platform and user experience
What Happens After Deletion
- You will no longer be able to access your account in any of our training applications
- All personally identifiable information will be permanently removed
- Your training progress and usage data will be anonymized and retained for platform improvement
- Any content you created will be permanently deleted
- You will stop receiving all communications from Design Interactive
- Any active subscriptions should be cancelled through Google Play or Apple App Store
- Your personal data will not be recoverable after the deletion process is complete
Anonymized Data Retention
To continually improve our training platforms, we retain anonymized usage data that helps us understand:
- Which training modules are most effective
- Where users typically encounter difficulties in lessons
- Overall platform performance and user engagement patterns
- Technical issues that need to be addressed
Important: This anonymized data cannot be linked back to you personally and contains no identifying information such as names, email addresses, or other personal details.
Subscription and Billing
Our training applications use in-app purchases and subscriptions managed by Google Play and Apple App Store. Your billing information and purchase history are handled directly by these platforms, not by Design Interactive. To manage your subscription or billing:
- Android users: Manage subscriptions through your Google Play account
- iOS users: Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings
Deleting your account will not automatically cancel active subscriptions. Please cancel your subscription through the appropriate platform before or after requesting account deletion.
Alternatives to Account Deletion
If you're considering account deletion due to:
- Privacy concerns: You can review and update your privacy settings
- Too many emails: You can unsubscribe from marketing communications
- Account access issues: Contact our support team for assistance
- Temporary break: You can deactivate your account temporarily instead
